The class tutor is an integral part of pastoral care structures in post primary schools. Teachers volunteer for the role, yet they receive little or no training.
The Role of the Tutor workshop will explore the role of pastoral care and the tutor in post primary schools. Teachers will share experience and practice, participate in activities that enhance self-esteem for students and are suitable for use in tutorials, and access resources for use in school.
The workshop will take place in Dublin West Education Centre, from 4.30 – 6.30pm on Tuesday, 26th January 2016.
